I always hear that GameStops trade in values are horrible but up here in Canada they’re actually pretty good. Most popularish games will net you about $15, and the big ones (Call of Duty, Pokemon, etc) can go for up to $30. I guess that’s because there’s a fair share of other stores that take trade ins here, which means GS isn’t an evil monopoly.There’s a Gamefly commercial where these people get pissed that the place they’re trying to sell a game at is only going to give them $9 for it (Taking a shot at GameStop). I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve never gotten anywhere near that for 1 game at GameStop, so I’d be okay with $9. Though I wouldn’t go there to sell stuff anymore for exactly that reason.
